The Audio Archive has been updated again – this time with the 2006 Radio Drama “Todtnauberg”.
“Todtnauberg” is a fictional drama inspired by the meeting between the poet and holocaust survivor, Paul Celan, with the Nazi philosopher Martin Heidegger, at Heidegger’s mountain retreat in 1967. Jemma plays Hannah Arendt.
As you know, we recently lost various audios from the Audio Archive. However – thanks to a lovely friend – most of these have now been reuploaded – with a few new ones. The following are now available in the Audio Archive:

(UPDATE: Please note the performance date has changed to Monday 19 October 2020 at 7.30pm)
Jemma Redgrave and Simon Slater are to present a rehearsed reading of “Hansard” at Scarborough’s Steven Joseph Theatre.
The reading will take place in the Round at 7.30pm on Monday 19 October 2020. The synopsis of the play is:
It’s a summer’s morning in 1988 and Tory politician Robin Hesketh has returned home to the idyllic Cotswold house he shares with his wife of 30 years, Diana. But all is not as blissful as it seems. Diana has a stinking hangover, a fox is destroying the garden, and secrets are being dug up all over the place. As the day draws on, what starts as gentle ribbing and the familiar rhythms of marital sparring quickly turns to blood-sport.
Paul Robinson, Artistic Director at the SJT, says: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have attracted two actors of the stature of Jemma and Simon to bring a reading of Simon Woods’ brutally funny, but ultimately moving, political satire to the SJT.”
Tickets for Hansard are priced from £10. Booking opens at 10am on Friday 2 October – due to social distancing restrictions, numbers are extremely limited for this one-off event. Please visit the website: sjt.uk.com/whatson or call the Box Office on 01723 370541 (currently open Tuesdays to Saturdays, 11am to 4pm, for both phone calls and in-person bookings).
A promo video for “Doctor Who: Time Fracture” – the immersive experience coming to London in Spring 2021 – has been released and, rather wonderfully, it features Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart. Not overly fond of the “formerly Chief Scientific Officer” bit though lol. Screencaps to follow.
Further details of “Doctor Who: Time Fracture” can be found on their website:
A couple of updates to the site – firstly, the screencaptures in the “Doctor Who – Back in Cardiff” album have been updated. There are now over 100 caps – all 1920 x 1080 HD (replacing the 27 that were originally there at only 1000 pixels).
